The 'UNI-200-USB' by DICE is an all inclusive entertainment connectivity device that delivers a USB digital connections for iPod/iPhone, USB flash mass storage devices and aftermarket SIRIUS Satellite Radio tuners and portable radios. The 'UNI-200-USB' features a completely digital audio circuit with a dedicated audio decoder chip, DSP and enhanced modulated output. HOW IT WORKS
Your iPod or iPhone connects to the 'UNI-200-USB' adapter with the included docking cable.
The 'UNI-200-USB' adapter then connects to your car stereos +12 volt, ground and remote wire leads. Then remove the factory antenna connector from your vehicles head unit and plug the universal antenna connector into the FM antenna port of your vehicle's car stereo. Finally plug your factory antenna connector into the universal antenna connector. Set the FM station on the module and your car stereo and enjoy the music from your iPod or iPhone. It's that simple! FAQ'S BEFORE PURCHASING...
How do I know the DICE FM-RDS can connect to my vehicle’s head unit?
If your vehicle’s head unit supports FM radio, an antenna connection will be available. Antenna adapters (sold separately) may be required for proper connection.
How can I tell if my radio supports RDS-text?
RDS-capable radios may have an “RDS” logo stamped on the face of it or an RDS button. If neither are present, you can tune to a popular FM station to verify if any RDS information shows up on the display (station name, song/artist names, etc.).
With the DICE Universal RDS-USB kit, is my regular FM audio affected?
No, you can still use your regular radio and tune through all the stations with the iPod disconnected.
