ABOUT THE HOLDER
This Cradle creates a "dock type" connection to your iPhone by incorporating your own cable into the holder. The cable plug must have the same measurements, design, and shape as the one shown in the picture. It works with the cables supplied with the DICE i-AUX-R and FM-RDS universal modules. Permanently connect the "5v" dock connector supplied by either of the DICE universal modules into the cradle keeping your iPhone connected to more "possibilities". Keep your iPhone conveniently on the dash, within easy reach, by allowing attachment of your stereo cable or any other "5v" dock connector cable matching these measurements you may have to the Holder. Now you can dock and un-dock with one hand.

HOW IT WORKS
First you need to know that the cradle works best with the ProClip Car Device Mount , a vehicle specific mount designed for your new cradle to attach to. The Car Device Mount is self-installed and clips in between the panel sections of the dashboard, providing a very sturdy and tight fit.
